Library hires new Public Services Directors and Communications Manager

Benjamin Reid has been hired to serve as one of three new Public Services Directors. He will report to the library’s Chief Customer Experience Officer (CXO), be responsible for strategic direction, budget oversight, program coordination and overseeing operations at several CML locations. Reid has been with CML for three years, previously serving as manager of CML’s New Albany Branch. He begins his new role today, Monday, Oct. 4.

Miya Reyes has been hired to serve as one of three new Public Services Directors. She will report to the library’s Chief Customer Experience Officer (CXO), be responsible for strategic direction, budget oversight, program coordination and overseeing operations at several CML locations. Reyes has been with CML for two years, previously serving as Youth Services Manager at CML’s Hilliard Branch. Starting last fall, she served as interim manager of CML’s Martin Luther King Branch before relinquishing the “interim” title this spring. She begins her new role today, Monday, Oct. 4.

Andrea Villanueva has been hired to serve as one of three new Public Services Directors. She will report to the library’s Chief Customer Experience Officer (CXO), be responsible for strategic direction, budget oversight, program coordination and overseeing operations at several CML locations. Villanueva has been with CML for four years, previously serving as manager of CML’s Northern Lights Branch. She begins her new role today, Monday, Oct. 4.

Dorcas Taylor Jones has been hired to serve in the newly created role of Communications Manager. She will report to the library’s Director of Marketing & Communications and be responsible for leading the day-to-day communication needs of the organization, with a focus on internal and executive communications. She is a new hire at CML, previously serving as the Chief Communications Officer for the Ohio Housing Finance Agency. She begins her new role today, Monday, Oct. 4.
