COLUMBUS—Columbus Metropolitan Library’s (CML) Linden Branch will not close tomorrow to prepare for construction, as was previously announced.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the start of construction has been delayed. CML will announce a new date for the closure of the branch, as well as a new date for the move to its temporary location at 1990 Jefferson Ave.
CML will also share a new date for the public wallbreaking ceremony, previously scheduled for Feb. 28.
The Linden Branch was built in 2004. The new two-level Linden Branch, to be built on the same site, will more than double the size of the current branch from roughly 12,700 square feet to approximately 27,000 square feet. Turner is the construction manager at risk and Moody Nolan is the architect.
