Check out books, music and movies; use a computer; download and stream eBooks, eAudiobooks and films, plus access online tools and resources – all free with your library card.

If you are applying from home, you’ll receive a digital library card number:
Fill out the card application below and you’ll receive a library card number to use immediately. You can download eBooks, use our research tools, access digital and streaming content plus reserve meeting and study rooms. You can reserve books and other physical items, but you need a physical library card to check them out. To get one, bring your photo ID to one of our 23 locations and ask a staff member for help.

If you are applying in one of our 23 locations, you’ll receive a physical library card:

All library card applicants – online and in our locations – must be residents of Ohio.
