Who We Are
Friends of the Library is a nonprofit 501(c)(4) organization made up of everyday customers and advocates passionate about Columbus Metropolitan Library.
What We Do
Friends of the Library manages revenue-generating library amenities that enhance the library experience and maintains a membership program of library lovers who champion grassroots advocacy in support of Columbus Metropolitan Library.

Friends are advocates who love Columbus Metropolitan Library and can’t stop talking about all it has to offer. They support Big Book Sales, The Library Store, library cafes and attend Carnegie Gallery receptions and library programs. Friends respond to calls to action -big and small- to ensure Columbus Metropolitan Library remains open to all for years to come.
