We’ve partnered with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to bring you backstage and connect you with some of rock music’s iconic artifacts. Plus, we’ll have free programs and activities for rock lovers of all ages. This exhibit is supported by the Columbus Metropolitan Library Foundation, with additional support from the Ohio History Connection.

Visit our second floor History Gallery to explore the roots of rock in central Ohio.
Plus, stop by our Local History & Genealogy area on the third floor and try to match the Ohio musician with their real name. While you’re there, share your most memorable concert experiences.

Rich Baker from WOSU’s “Bluegrass Ramble” and Tom Ewing, author and former member of Bill Monroe’s Blue Grass Boys, will explore the legacy of Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Bill Monroe, the “Father of Bluegrass.”
Books will be available for purchase and signing by the author.
